Greater Vancouver's Active Rehabilitation Specialists
You don’t have to live with the pain. You just have to know where to start.
Active Rehab Rx is a team of Registered Kinesiologists helping the Greater Vancouver area safely build stability and strength through injury, surgery, and the aches and pains that come with aging.
Our Programs & Classes
A plan for wherever you're starting from.

Pick the class that matches where your body is right now.
Managing an injury
Rehab Classes
Built specifically for musculoskeletal injuries: improving joint stability and strength, and correcting the muscular imbalances and movement compensations an injury leaves behind. Where our three-month programs build a plan from the ground up, Rehab Classes are for the maintenance stretch, staying strong and stable once you're past the acute stage.
-
Beginner Core Rehab
Where most clients start. Wakes up the deep core and the small muscles that steady your joints, at a pace that builds your foundation.
-
Core Rehab Lv 1
The next step once you’re ready. Builds on your foundation with more challenging core and whole-body strength work.
-
Hip Rehab
Re-engages and strengthens the glutes, improves spinal stability, and addresses muscular imbalances on the affected side.
-
Knee Rehab
Strengthens the muscles around the knee, re-engages and strengthens the glutes, and addresses muscular imbalances on the affected side.

Staying ahead of injury
Prehab Classes
No injury required. Built to reduce joint stiffness and pain, increase range of motion, and improve functional strength and fall risk as you age. If chronic tension, new aches, or once-easy tasks are starting to feel hard, it's often a sign the small stabilizer muscles around your joints have quietly turned off, and Prehab is where you turn them back on.
-
Core Combo
Strengthens the deep core musculature, glutes, and the dynamic stabilizers of your shoulders.
-
Functional Strength
A gentler, mat-focused class using supine, side-lying, and prone positions to strengthen the dynamic stabilizers of our major joints, a lower-impact option if you're easing back into movement or prefer less time on your feet.
-
Resistance Combo
Strengthens the static and dynamic stabilizers of your major joints and their functional patterns, with resistance bands.
$37 drop-in · $32 with Prehab 10-Pack · $30 with Prehab 20-Pack · $30 with Silver Prehab Membership (4/month) · $28 with Gold Prehab Membership (8/month)
How it works
Two paths in, depending on where you're starting from.
Everything below falls into one of two tracks, and they get you started a little differently. Here's how each one works, so you can find the right door in.

Our Approach
Our Three Pillars
Our active rehabilitation approach strengthens the small stabilizing muscles and the big prime movers around your joints. When injured tissue doesn't get its stability and strength back, other tissues take over, and that's how one injury turns into the next.
-
Injury Prevention
Joints lose stability with age, pain and injury, and the muscles around them tighten up to compensate.
Our prehab classes strengthen the weak links in the movement chain before pain forces the issue.
-
Injury Rehabilitation
From about a week after an injury to years after, we use corrective exercise to restore stability, strength and range of motion.
Work one-on-one with a kinesiologist or join a rehab class, including after joint replacement surgery.
-
Rehabilitation Maintenance
Recovered from an injury and need a way to stay strong and healthy? Our classes are the maintenance solution.
We keep building on your rehabilitation and protecting the stability and strength you've regained, so the same injury doesn't find its way back.
What our clients say
-
“I have had crippling arthritis since I was 40 years old. I have tried acupuncture, physiotherapy, massage and nothing has worked for me for pain management until I met Kerri. The exercises are tough but Kerri is always upbeat, kind, encouraging and has been successful in taking away a lot of the pain. Thank you Kerri from the bottom of my heart, you are the best!”
— Previous Arthritis Client
-
"Kerri designed a structured program that brought mobility and strength back to my shoulder. The instructors are knowledgeable, well prepared, and happy to adjust the training to your needs. I've also done the core and knee classes and have never been dissatisfied. I would highly recommend Active Rehab to anyone who has issues with their movement, recovering from injury or an operation."
— Shoulder Injury Recovery Client
-
“Active Rehab Rx has been a constant in my life for the last 2 years. I have been consistently attending the Rehab to Strength (for Menopause) class. What I like best is you not only get a prehab & rehab workout, but the strength component challenges me to keep building & maintaining my muscles as I get older."

Meet the Team
The Active Rehab Rx Team
Every clinician at Active Rehab Rx is a Registered Kinesiologist, trained to look at your whole movement system, not just the part that hurts. All of our clinicians use a protocol-based approach to treatment and understand the anatomy and pathology behind your injury or degenerative condition.
Founder & Lead Clinician
Kerri Anderson
Registered Kinesiologist, CES, Medical Exercise Specialist
Kerri has spent over 10 years helping people rebuild after injury and surgery. She personally leads our Osteo Build, Low Back, Knee Rehab, and Core Combo classes, and built Active Rehab Rx to fill a gap she kept seeing: real support for the stretch of recovery between acute care and actually getting your life back.
A Recent Win
One client came to us after a back injury that had kept him in bed for months, in chronic pain, barely able to move. He started our Three Month Lower Back Rehab program. Today his pain is down more than 80%, and he's back on his feet, fully functional, living his life again.
That's not the exception here. That's the plan working the way it's supposed to.
